I need your help

 One of my favorite books for young learners is  The Mitten.
It is the wonderful story of a young boy who loses his white mitten in the snow. Eight different animals find his white mitten and climb inside it.
I�d like to teach it but I can�t find the original text of the story.

I googled and found this site; if you look closely you will see at the bottom of the book a small arrow; click on it and the pages will turn.
Well, it is copyrighted material, but you can always copy the story, I guess.

It seems there are tons of resources based on this book but the story is difficult to find.
fo example here are more links but so far no story.

Why don`t you send an email to Jan Brett and ask her if she knows where you can find the original version of the story? She�s the illustrator of the story book, so perhaps she can help you!
