POP ENGLISH SONGS TO HELP DEVELOP LISTENING SKILLS AND PRONOUNCIATION

Dear colleagues

I am studying a master in English Didactics and in order to get my degree I need to present my THESIS and it is about the uses of Pop English songs to help develop listening skills and pronounciation!
So I was wondering if you know where I can get a good article or  a similar thesis to use as a guideline!
OR maybe some SONGSHEETS about this, PLEASE!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Hi, my future colegue, I asked my friend Romana if I could send you her thesis. Her topic was the same as yours. She agreed but just like a topic for you not to copy :)). We both can remember difficulties with writing our final works. :)) My topic was different. (Both graduated 2014 in January) Should be OK, written according to APA with bibliography help of http://www.bibme.org/ creator for references. Her email is [email protected] or my is [email protected] . Tomorrow I can send it to you if you send us your email. Bye Lenka

Hey Dear friend Bomberito, greetings from Brazil!

In your message you said:

"So I was wondering if you know where I can get a good article or  a similar thesis to use as a guideline! OR maybe some SONGSHEETS about this, PLEASE!!"

So, if you want, I have uploaded to this site many POP SONG WORKSHEETS and you could use them to exemplify your thesis.

It would be a pleasure for me to have my worksheets in your Mastering Work.

Best Wishes!

Weliton.

The refrain of Love you Like a Love Song  can be used to train light [l].
Pearsonally I understood how to pronounce dark [l]  after looking at Neil Tennants articulation in New York City Boy video (You feel the deal its real).
Overcome  light and dark [l]

The refrain of  What a Wonderful World - [w].

The whole song If I Was a River  can be used to show the difference between [w] and [v].

The whole song Lemon Tree can be used to show the difference between [n] and ng. (But as far as I know singers sing [n] instead of ng)

Youll See  -  th ([] and [θ]), [f]-[v], [l], n-ng.
