Hello teachers. I have a question about the song "Tears In Heaven". Could you help me?
What´s the correct translation in Spanish for the phrases "Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please"?
I hope you can help me.

I absolutely love that song
according to me one translation could be:
El Tiempo te puede derrotar
El Tiempo te puede doblar las rodillas
El Tiempo puede romper tu corazn
Has pedido caridad por favor
La caridad por favor? |

Hi!
I think the last part would be something like:
"El tiempo puede partirte el corazon, haciendote implorar "por favor".
hope this helped.
It a a beautiful song, but really sad.. don t you think so?

Hello Maggie,
Im pretty sure this is how it d be in our language:
Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
El tiempo puede desmoronarte, el tiempo puede doblarte las rodillas*
Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please
el tiempo puede romperte el corazon, haciendote suplicar porfavor , suplicar porfavor
*bend your knees= doblarte las rodillas (literally)
debilitarte (figurative)
Miss Melissa.
***yeap its very sad, someone told me he wrote the song and sang it on behalf of his son who had just died*** |
