Idiomatic Passive

Hi there! Does anyone know a text in which there are examples of the idiomatica passive (double object passive)? And of course if we have any suggestions of games to work with it, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance, AJFC

I was given a nice gift. OR A nice gift was given to me.
In the examples above, there are two objects. The sentence in the active is: my father gave me a nice gift. Me and gift are both objects.
 He was offered the job.

Just to add something to the excellent answer, "gift" is the direct object (the thing actually given), and "me" is the indirect object (with an implied "to" or "for").
