1. I will guess that this is a matching question for a test. Here are my answers:
A grain of rice
A portion of food (although in a different context, you could say a portion of rice or a portion of fruit)
A spoonful of medicine (spoonful of rice could work also)
A basket of fruit
A bit of advice (or any of the others)
2. You to add need a subject to make these words a sentence. One example:
[The children] played noisily in the yard all afternoon. |
