I �m a bit out of the loop re current pop songs can anybody give me some recommendations of current pop or rocks songs that students are into at the moment?

To avoid this problem I always ask students themselves what songs they �d like to work with in class and we make a list on the board. Then they vote for their favourite, we rank them from most to least popular, and that �s the order in which I use them in class. You might want to establish some rules about content or language depending on the age and level of the students, of course. The advantages of this system are that they always enjoy the songs, and they look forward to listening to the next one. Hope it helps!
