Didn t I just answer this earlier this week?

It s "of", since the leather is still discernable in the shoes.

 Cheese is made from milk.

Her coat is made of fur.

MADE OF - usually we use it when something is made of some material and we can see this material: table made of wood, box made of carton
MADE FROM - we use it when we mean the process of doing smth: wine made from grapes (we no longer see grapes, but in the process of making wine we had grapes)
MADE WITH is usually used with food when we mean ingredients: cake made with flour and sugar

Bruce and Anastasia said it all.  In addition, we also use made out of .  We usually use made out of when we talk about something that has been changed or transformed from one thing into another: In the 1970s, it was popular to have candle-holders made out of wine bottles. Cheers, Peter
