Instructions

Hello.

Will you kindly check these instructions and tell me
if they are correct, especially underlined parts?

Students have cards with a short story and
in pairs they read each other their stories. Each of them has different stories.
This activity is for speaking and listening.
1. Read your cards carefully alone

2. Read one card to your partner.

    Pause to deliver correct meaning.

3. Ask ‘do you get it?’ when you finish reading.

A. If your partner says yes,

ask questions below each card to check for their understanding.

B. If your partner says no, read the card again and explain difficult

     words or phrases.
4. Take turn.

Thanks always

1. Read your cards carefully alone (better: "on your own")

2. Read one card to your partner.

Pause to deliver correct meaning. (better: "pause to give your partner time to understand")

3. Ask ‘do you get it?’ when you finish reading.

A. If your partner says yes,

ask the questions below each card to check their understanding. (add "the", delete "for")

B. If your partner says no, read the card again and explain any difficult

words or phrases. (add "any")
4. Take turns. (make "turn" plural)

I hope that helps.
