I think you ´ll find the words in the average text - newspaper, book etc. They are the most common words.
I don ´t know of any specific books but maybe someone does. |

Fry ´s 1000 most used words are like the Dolch words. These are the most used words, as they are likely to appear in children ´s books. Get your hands on any child ´s book, widely available as kids prefer tablets nowadays, and you ´ll have your sentences. Cheers, Peter |

I suggest Graded Readers. They are available in different levels. Have a look here or here or here.(Mind: some are Kindle editions, so choose paperbacks for classroom use.) |
