Please tell me if I must change "next week" into "the next week" in reported speech.And If the tense in the directed speech is simple past , I can use the simple past in the reported speech.Thanks

I īd say "the following week" ... and spl past changes to past perfect.

Is your context something like this?
 
He said, "My aunt is coming next week."
 
He said his aunt was coming next week. ( īthe ī is not necessary)
 
Could you post your example sentence?
