I think there are some mistakes here,could you please correct them? I need it urgently.
As
many countries
of the world, Algeria has seen some plane crashes. One of these crashes was
that of the military plane in The Fertas Mountain in Oum El Bouaghi.

Like many countries... is better. Sticklers might ask for an apostrophe in front of planes... �planes, instead of planes. Also, in The Fertas Mountains, or on Mount Fertas.

Also, it should be "a military plane", not "the military plane", since this is the first mention of this plane. Bruce

Good point, Bruce! I had assumed this was the plane they were already talking about, but there is no evidence for that. |

You could also say As in many countries, but I prefer Lynne �s formulation with �like �. |
