hi i have students who are learning english as a second language. We are going to open an english club in our school. can anybody suggest some interesting activites. thanx in advance |

english club is a good idea. when i was a student at university, i set up philology club...such clubs are very important to create a warm atmosphere among students. here i will write some activities, we orginized...
*newsletters (here students can give latest news about their classroom or department, they can publish stories, poems or anything interesting...)
*song,poem or short story contests
*parties and barbeques
*collecting money for the needs of the classroom or department
*organizing trips
*informing students about the latest news on ecucation.
these are the things i remember... i hope they will be helpful...if new ideas come to my mind, i will inform you...
