Doubt

I d like to ask about the sentences:

In my bedroom there is a bed.

There is a bed in my bedroom.

What sentence is correct?

Hope your answers. Thanks in advance.

the first sentence needs a comma after bedroom. its more uncommon/formal to put a location phrase at the beginning of the sentence but they are essentially exactly the same and corect.

That is a good point about location phrases normally being at the end. To me it just sounds better, but your explanation is insightful. Instead of  "In this sentence there is a location phrase" we should say "There is a location phrase in this sentence". Splendid!

It can also be used for emphasis. If you are comparing two sentences, you would say, "In this sentence there is a location phrase" (as opposed to the other sentence).
