I usually use the first session for introductions. I make the pupils stand in a circle, then I take a ball ( or any object you want), I introduce myself while holding the ball then pass the ball to a pupil who introduces himself or herself and so on. you have to make sure that only the person holding the ball can speak ( this will teach them taking turns). You can also play simon says, or spot the person who.... good luck
