Congratulations on myself. help?

Context: I did something amazing.

Sentence: Congratulations on myself.

Does it sound right? If not what could it be?

We say congratulations TO a person; congratulations ON an occasion/achievement.

Congratulations to Jenny! Congratulations on the birth of your new baby!

In your example, I would say "Congratulations to me!"

FrauSue is right, as always. And this might be followed up by a Well done, me!

as a native speaker, i can only tell you that i would never say either. but then, we native speakers are so modest!

The form that comes to mind for me is:

I must congratulate myself
Id like to congratulate myself
I congratulate myself

See examples in these quotes from Frank McCourt , Dee Dee Ramone and William Cobbet

Cheers
