Hi Friends,
Since it is end of the academic year here, I want to end the year with some games for the kids. Please suggest some indoor games for kids between the age group 5 to 9, 10-12, 13-16. Thanx. Have a great day. |

Justa a remark
Why always wait till the end of the academic year (the term, or even the end of the lesson) to use games in class????
This would imply that they are less important pedagogically, (I have already heard some teachers objecting to using games while teaching (arguing that games are a waste of time, not serious, and do not help in learning ....)
I am totally against this view. Game do help to learn while having some fun.... I am in favour of using games at anytime, but NOT relegating them to the end of (the lesson / term / year)
A few suggestions
The alphabet game where learners revise their vocabulary
The first student would start "a" like "artist", the second "b" like "bridge".... and so on
They should quick and the one who needs more than 10 seconds to give an example is disqualified, has to stand up .....
You can make it more difficult and ask them to work on specific topics, examples limit the vocabulary search to adjectives, jobs, food, verbs etc
