Hello. I reduce the size with Paint. I hope I ll make myself clear because the words are in Italian on my computer and I ll translate directly in English!

Upload the picture in Paint, click on Image, then Straighten (I hope it s witten like this!) then cancell the size and reduce it either in horizontal or in vertical. I reduce from 100% to 80%. Click o.k and save the new, lighter, picture.

I hope I ve been useful.
Bye.

Hi! This is an answer given to me by a friend when I asked the same question.

if you want to reduce picture size you can try doing this:
1) put a picture on a blank document, make it the size you want
2) push PrtSc button that is at the top of your keyboard (a bit on the right)
3) then go to START at the bottom of the screen
4) find option Programs and open it
5) go to Accessories and choose Paint
6) when Paint opens push Edit and then Paste. You will see your picture copy on the screen
7) Now use the Select option; it s a rectangle next to a little star
8) after pushing it, your cursor will be similar to a cross and you will be able to define an outline around your picture
9) make a click with the right side of your mouse and make a copy of it
10) go to you document, click on paste and ,here you are, a reduced picture.
Hope my explanation was clear enough. If not, do not hesitate to ask.

Good luck! Have a nice day!!

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Mena has suggested that in one post . It s an easy programme and very helpful.
