A google search on "vocabulary builder" resulted in this website. I am not familiar with it, but it is free so may be worth a try. http://www.vocabsushi.com/ I have used SAT vocabulary practice sites such as this one http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/vocabmania.htm . It has pronunciation. There are special lists of power words to improve the wording of cover leters and resumes when job searching.

Of course, exercising ins a good way, but I think reading is the best way to improve your vocabulary. Watching TV series or films also worked for me. I think it is an other way to increase your vocabulary and you even don �t notice it. |
