Possessive Adjectives

Hello, Dear Teachers.

Can I use “Guess Who  Mix and  Mash” Hasbro game to teach possessive adjectives?

For example: Monkey’s got panda’s eyes and pop star’s mouth.

Another option: Monkey’s got panda eyes and pop star mouth.

Thank you in advance

I can t say whether or not you can use it--that s your choice.  But if it produced the sentence above, I would be careful.

Monkeys got pandas eyes and pop stars mouth.
Monkeys got a pandas eyes and a pop stars mouth.

Monkey’s got panda eyes and pop star mouth.
Monkeys got panda eyes and pop star mouths.

OBTW: "Monkey got" also sounds funny to me, but I assume it is a BE thing. I would say "Monkeys have"

Cheers,
Douglas

Douglas, I think you missed something. Glutenfree is using the British "has got" and talking about monkey, panda and  as characters, rather than speaking in general. Monkey has got panda s eyes and pop star s mouth.

So, glutenfree, to be consistent, I would treat them all as characters and use the possessive.
