doesn �t  it  mean that  she   reached the age of one  ? This was the intention of ninaone33 ,I suppose
turned  not  present perfect as it can happen only once ,I  guess.

I �m not sure what your point is, monder78. Present perfect is fine. Simple past would be used if a day or date were specified.
