Father īs day poem

Hi everyone!

I have been asked  for a Father īs Day poem for young Italian children.
I can īt seem to find a simple one on the net, they are all too difficult in my opinion!!!Wacko.....so I was wondering if anyone knows any easy poems for 5 to 7 year olds?
I would be very grateful.....and thank you all in advance.

Grazie

I just wrote this,  see if you can use it.   I admit it is a bit kitschy.

I𠍿 so lucky

That you𠆫e my dad,

When you𠆫e not around

I feel sad.

So,  on this special day,

All I really want to say,

Happy Father𠏋 day to my dad.

Because he𠏋 mine and I𠍿 so glad.

I always cry when I hear the second one... You can paint the children īs hands and make them press their hands in a card with the poem.

Fingerprints

My dirty little fingerprints
I īve left on every wall,
And on the drawers and table tops,
I īve really marked them all.
But here is one that won īt rub off,
I īm giving it to you,
Because I īm thankful for a (mother or father) just like you!

Fingerprints

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small,
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.

But everyday I am growing,
-I īll be grown up someday,
And all these tiny handprints
Will simply fade away.
So here īs a final handprint
Just so you can recall,
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.
I love you (Dad/Mom)!

A Reminder

This is to remind you
When I have grown so tall,
That once I was quite little
And my hands were very small.

Handprint

Here is my hand
So tiny, so small
to hang somewhere
upon your wall.

This is my hand.
My hand will do
A 1000 loving things for you
And you will remember
When I am tall...
That once my hand
Was just this small.

This is the hand
You used to hold
When I was only
__ years old.

My Hand

I give my hand
to you this day!
Remember me now,
as I grow and play!

I used my thumb and fingers too
To make this flower just for you.
It doesn īt smell, it doesn īt grow.
It īs from me to let you know;
Love you (Mom or Dad)?
Love you not?
Love you, (Mom or Dad)!
Love you a lot!

Tiny Handprints

Tiny handprints grow so fast
Their awkward groping soon will clasp
A ball, a book, a sweetheart īs hand
A diploma, breifcase, wedding band.

Tiny handprints grow so strong
It doesn īt take them very long
To snap a shirt, to paint, to draw
To labor hard, to drive a car.

Tiny handprints grow to be
A person that is quite unique
A wonderful mix of so many things
With his own feelings, thoughts and dreams...

Meredith Harris

Here my handprints are done
For everyone to view
I had so much fun
Doing this for you.

So look upon this handprint plaque
Hanging on your wall,
And memories will come back
Of me when I was small.

(Student īs name and date)

A piece of me
I give to you.
I painted this flower
To say "I love you."

The heart is you.
The hand is me.
To show we are friends--
the best there can be.

I hope you will save it
And look back someday
At the flower we shared
On your special day.
