Hi,

I´ve seen it written in both ways:

an S-shaped curve

a S-shaped curve

Are they both correct?

Help, please and thanks

Ana

I d go for "an S-shaped curve".  I m not a native speaker though.

Hello Ana, it s definitely "an S-shaped curve", because of how the letter "S" is pronounced.  "ess"

Similarly...

It has been "an honour" (honour is pronounced "onner") to help you.

Thanks a million to both of you! That is what I was always taught but I started doubting since I found it written with "a" instead of "an"...
