Hi everyone! I have a question regarding AS and LIKE in the following sentence. "Me must have a law, AS any nation has" or "We must have a law, LIKE any nation has" Could you tell me which one could be the best from the grammatical point of view, and why? Thanks in advance |

Hi aldonza My preference is for as when used in written form, on the grounds of formality as I assume that this kind of statement would be expressed formally. However, like would be used in casual conversation. Both are common usage. Cheers Jayho |
