Move your way to...

Dear friends,

could you help me with the definition of the phrase "move your way to..."?
Does it mean to reach a certain achievement by putting a lot of effort into your work?

Thank you for your help.

I would say work your way to. Let s wait and see what native speakers think about your phrase. Pozdrav.

I agree with zvonka. It s usually work your way to/towards   I haven t heard move your way in this context. Move forward would be OK in this context. She moved forward/she moved towards her goal by studying hard...
I would say that move your way to is the same as the more usually used make your way to and is used in the literal sense.

Move your way is used in health contexts, reflecting movement and fitness. For example,

I have not heard it used in non-heath contexts.
