HELP

Hi, everybody

Just one question about vocabulary

Can you say "Sport show" instead of "sport programme"/ "discussion show" instead of "discussion programme"?

Can you say participant instead of contestant. Can you use both for a person who participates in a quiz show?

Thanks in advance

I would say sports show (sports plural), talk show instead of discussion programme or discussion show. Participant is fine.
