I have a friend on Facebook who is learning English who needs someone (preferably a native speaker) to practice with. Can anyone help? Or is there a site where this is possible. I havent been able to find any that seem suitable. I would do it, but I am very deaf and cannot make out words clearly enough. |

Hi there, there is a completely new project, I recommend: SPEAGE, there are many native speakers who offer their online lessons :) but not just English. Here is the web page, you need to "start now" and then there is an option - find a teacher, where you can find all the information, introduction video and experience of all lectors who are officially registrated there :) GOOD LUCK.

What about https://www.busuu.com ? It is a site where people learn languages via flashcards and fill in the blank exercises mainly, but it has a component where the learner produces a short oral or written paragraph and then submits it to be corrected by other learners who are competent in their target language. For example a German learning English corrects the German assignment of someone learning German, and his English assignment is corrected by someone who knows English. It is more for getting ones feet wet in a new language than intense instruction or long conversations.
