Hello everyone! I�m looking for ideas about dealing with vocabulary. I would like to write an essay on it, I�m very interested in this topic, I would like to find out more about it. Could you help me with teaching material on dealing with vocabulary/ on approaching the way we can teach vocabulary? Many thanks in advance! |

Hi Mariethe! Nice to �see� you! Lots of great stuff on that link.
Also, maybe slides 14 and 15 on here will give you some ideas: Slides 14/15 I�m not sure about this myself as I don�t know how you teach vocabulary as a separate entity from everything else? For memoring words: 1. Look, cover, write, check. 2. Write it backwards, write it in a circle, write it in fancy font etc... 3. Look at word stems. A member on here - Zdenda - did a lot of great stuff on this specific point. It was on her website, but it�s not coming up. Can anyone remember what her website is called? Found it. Lynne
