Woah,  we had some really clever entries for the last WOD daffynition contest.
I liked them all and was most inspired by Douglass entry:

The Pun Net is something similar to the Dark Net, a place where evil people
go to plan and do evil things. In the case of the Pun Net it revolves around sad,
humiliating, irritating, groan-instilling puns.
The "God" of this Pun Net is of course Piers Anthony.
Here is a short list of some of his literary transgressions:
Night Mare (about a horse)
Crewel Lies
Heaven Scent
Question Quest
Faun and Games
Up in a Heavel

All of the entries can be viewed here: http://www.eslprintables.com/forum/topic.asp?id=55832

A punnet is actually a British word that is little known in the area where I live in the United States.
As many of you know, it is "
a small light basket or other container for fruit or vegetables." Example:

"a punnet of strawberries"
I  agree that Douglas whip-round would have been a perfect WOD selection.
I am looking forward to what you come up with, Douglas!
Thaniks to all who participated!!

On a purely sociolinguistic note, redcamarocruiser, Im more intrigued by your Woah up there. Theres been a bit of a kerfuffle on social media lately about the competing spellings and pronunciation of the word (its only people over a certain age apparently who prefer the whoa variant). Even the Wall Street Journal has got in on the act:
