Lynne, if you spent any time on Facebook, you would return to your former attitude about apostrophes. Nowadays (in the US, at least), they are just arbitrarily sprinkled before the letter s. Sometimes, in a sentence with a compound subject of plural nouns, one of the nouns will have an apostrophe and one won�t. Many people think that the plural of a surname is made by adding  �s, or just � if the name ends in s.
