Hello everyone!

I need help with the article. What is right?

He suffered from a brain damage or he suffered from brain damage?

He suffered from brain damage. No article needed.
He suffered a brain injury is more usual.
People might more usually say: He had brain damage.

"damage" is uncountable so it doesnt take an article: "he suffered from brain damage"
