GIVING DIRECTIONS

Hi, everyone. Ive got a doubt  when we give directions . I dont know if I can say

"Go along this street  until  / to / as far as  Oxford Street." Which ones are correct?

And when you  say " Take the first turning in  / to/ at / into Oxford Street  Which preposition should we use?

 THANK YOU

I dont know either! They all sound OK.

I would say: Go along this street to Oxford St, or as far as Oxford St. . If you say until, you need a verb. Go along this street until you get to Oxford St.

Take the first turning into Oxford St

As a native speaker I would say:

"Go along this street as far as Oxford Street."

or you could say:

"Go along this street until you come to Oxford Street."

and the next:

"Take the first turning into Oxford Street.”
