Hello, my dear teachers! Where can I download for free some books/ short-stories/ texts for the intermediate/ upper-intermediate level? I need them for extra-reading.. Thank you in advance!

I was going to suggest Project Gutenberg. There aren�t that many other legal sites that I am aware of.
But Murielle beat me to the punch!  
 
A couple of titles you can get from there are:
Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Andersen 
The Happy Prince, and Other Tales by Oscar Wilde
Modern Short Stories: A Book for High Schools by Stacy Aumonier et al. 
 
If you do a search with Short Stories in the subject field you�ll find others.
 
Random fact: the site has some works in languages other than English, but not many.
