Doubts....

Hi dear colleagues! Since I ve been a member just for a week or so, there are certain points I m still in doubt... Today, for example, I came across a worksheet in which the text and some questions (not all the ecercises) had been taken from a coursebook, so I left a comment on it, saying where it had been taken from. And here comes my question.... the other day I was thinking of scanning some pictures from a coursebook so as to create a completely different activity, but... is that cosidered stealing? What about texts for reading comprehension (as the case I mentioned at the beginning), can we use them as long as we create a new task? can we use articles from magazines, newspapers, the net, etc? I don t want to banished from this wonderful land of crazy teachers who can still find the time to make incredible tasks!!! >Hugs!!

Hi wilwarin... welcome to this great site!!!
You can scan some pictures from a coursebook... but only to create a completely DIFFERENT activity. It won t be cosidered stealing if you do that!!!

Wilwarin to this site.
Don t forget to quote the source, the author and all the info you may have. If you don t do that, we´ll assume that your worksheets are entirely your creation.
Hugs,
