How do you check if the background is truly transparent in Photoshop?

Look for the gray and white checkerboard pattern surrounding your subject to verify a transparent background Photoshop output. This is a sign of openness. To double-check in a different viewer, you may alternatively save the file as a PNG and disable any background layers. Your background is successfully transparent if there isnt any solid color visible.

This pattern usually appears by default when there is no background layer or when the background has been deleted. To confirm transparency, go to the Layers panel and ensure there is no solid background layer. clipping path service company If there is a "Background" layer locked, double-click it to convert it to a normal layer and then delete or mask it as needed. You can test transparency by exporting the image in a format that supports transparency, then reopening it in Photoshop or another viewer to verify the checkerboard pattern is still visible behind your subject.
