How do you check if the background is truly transparent in Photoshop?

Look for the gray and white checkerboard pattern surrounding your subject to verify a transparent background Photoshop output. This is a sign of openness. To double-check in a different viewer, you may alternatively save the file as a PNG and disable any background layers. Your background is successfully transparent if there isnt any solid color visible.
