Good evening!!! Would you help me to find out Time and aspect forms of the underlined construction in the following sentence. Retailer �s should be selected be their reputation for relaiability and fairness. tell me plase what is it? passive ? but what tense or whch form .. what is it in fact????

Hi, it �s passive of modal verbs. It consists of a modal verb and �be � plus the main verb in past participle.

Hello..it is the passive form of the modal verb should.
should+be and the verb in past participle
all the modal verbs are followed by be+ the verb in the past participle

The passive form in any tense always contains the verb to be in some form followed by the past participle. With the modal verbs, for example should, it depends on the original tense that you are making passive.
[present simple] I should make a copy > A copy should be made. [present perfect] I should have made a copy > A copy should have been made. [present continuous] I should be making a copy > A copy should be being made.
