I agree with what Carla said about circles. However, if in doubt "make circles" would usually be more correct.

Groovy is American slang for tedious and dull.  Being an American, I have never heard of this connotation. Groovy has always had a positive meaning.  Tedious and dull are both negative. We said it (groovy) in the 70s too. lol
