Question one of many... Analyzing texts

could we say that a "covenant" is a type of prose/text?
Is is a specific Genre?

Never, ever heard of that.
A convenant is a pact between people.

a covenant, in contrast to a contract, is a one-way agreement whereby the covenanter is the only party bound by the promise.

But who knows - could be some new thing I never heard of!
