ENGLISH CLUB ?

Hi there!

I am working on an "English Club " in my school for pupils aged between 10 and 16 years old...but I am looking for some ideas about the activities I could do with them...Id like to make them work on small projects to boost life at school... so if you have any ideas for me which might help or if you work yourself in a club...thanks in advance.
By the way, I have planned to work with penpals so if some of you are interested let me know...

Guillaume.

What a great idea Guillaume.  Some suggestions for fun competitions:

1) Pub Quiz (in english) search this site for some great questions
2) Catch Phrase - you can buy this game is similar to taboo - but faster! http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=browse&product_id=9429 I have the old version with a randome beeping timer.

3) English Songfestival
4) Share a song and meaning
5) One minute speech competition - again I will create a worksheet for you.
6) Taboo competition - search this website - icha has great printables for this at different levels
7) Greate Debate (pre-prepared)
8) Jeopardy competition - again search this website
9) Poetry competition
10) Write a limrick competition
11) Rap off (more modern than limericks - but same thing really!)
12) Joke day.
13) Dingbats - great for preposition practice!!  I have uploaded an example for you. http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=121274#thetop

Hope these help.
