Anomia Card Game
If you´ve ever played Anomia before, you´ll know it´s a fun card game for people of all ages. It´s a good game to test your recall and get your students to use a range of vocabulary that may not come up all the time during class. Highly recommend using this in groups of 3 or more!
Rules: split the cards into two decks, and draw cards. When two people pull cards with the same symbol, they have to say a word for the category on the other card (ex. the other player has "color" on the card, they have to yell out "blue". There can also be multiple matches depending on how many cards the players match!! If two players aren´t aware of a match, you are allowed to make noises to make them aware of it :) At the end, the player with the most cards wins!
