A well-known text (I haven’t given the source because I found it at least on 20 sites and blogs) used to practice vocabulary (phrasal verbs and expressions), reading comprehension and irregular plural of nouns, that can be used for higher intermediate or lower advanced. There are 3 different tasks but the teacher can also use the worksheet to practice phrasal verbs, vocabulary or as a starting point for a discussion / composition about similar paradoxes in English and / or funny / embarrassing situations caused but their use and misunderstanding either in English or the students’ first language. The worksheet is completely editable (also correctable) to better fit your needs. Thanks for downloading and have a nice day!
