SYLLABLES - teach students "when, why & how" to read new words - beginner/elementary/intermediate
When we read new words for the first time, we should break the word into syllables or pieces to help us pronounce them correctly. This worksheet focusses on teaching ESL learners "when, why & how" to break words into syllables or pieces to help them with correct pronunciation. The colour version for this worksheet was uploaded a while ago if youŽd like it too. Normally I upload colour & black & white together on to one worksheet for convenience but this time I couldnŽt do it due to issues with converting background colours to greyscale.
