Ss watch a youtube video "One day, a computer will fit on a desk (1974)" and fill out a dictation. Suggested plan: tell Ss they�ll watch an interview w/sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke talk about his predictions for the future and for Ss to tell you what his predictions are. Then, listen again and do the worksheet. Then, follow up with questions: 1.Arthur C.Clarke is a sci-fi writer; how does that impact his predictions? (sci fi writers think a lot about the future) 2. what sort of inventions will we have in the future? 3.What is a prediction you�ve heard that you think is very unlikely to happen?
