Present Perfect & Past Simple (1) - mini-dialogues: "Have you ever been to...?/ When did you go?"
Students look at the pictures and write mini dialogues - questions and answers - using both verb tenses. The colour of the flags in the bubble at the bottom of the page will help them to identify the countries. You can make the exercise even more communicative by asking the students to do it in pairs, one asking and the other answering and vice versa.
