HAVE YOU EVER…? 1 of 4 Board Game - Practice present perfect/vocabulary/speaking --> PART 1 game board and instructions
This is a fun board game to practice PRESENT PERFECT – VOCABULARY – SPEAKING. It’s a compilation of several ideas I got from a good friend in Germany. I used questions that I had gathered over the years from various sources and graphics from thistlegirl.
====> INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Everybody gets one screen, 10 “YES” and “NO” chips, 1 adjusting shim and a token to place on the board. Each round, the players are asked a question by one fellow player.
(2) Everybody makes a guess at how many of the players will answer “Yes” to this question, by secretly adjusting a dial on the adjusting shims to the appropriate number and placing it facedown in front of himself.
(3) Then, each player in turn answers the question secretly (and honestly) by putting a chip into the fabric bag: a chip saying “YES” if the answer is “YES”, a chip saying “NO” if the answer is “NO”.
(4) After everybody has put a piece into the bag, it is emptied onto the “YES NO” field on the game board so that all players can see how many “YES” there are.
(5) A player who correctly guessed the exact number of “YES”-answers to the question moves his game piece two squares forward on the game board. Anyone who got the number wrong by 1 in either direction still moves one square forward. === Win: Whoever first manages to get his game piece around the board wins the game.
==== You will need the EQUIPMENT to play the game properly. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to upload everything in one file because of the file size. You will find --> PART 2 - 50 “YES” chips and 50 “NO” chips and adjusting shims: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=263561#thetop --> PART 3 - screens: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=263562#thetop --> PART 4 - 54 question cards: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=263884#thetop ****** I hope you will enjoy this game.
