Interview activity using present perfect Interview activity using present perfect

Goals of this activity: - practice reading - building sentences - practice speaking - make boys and girls interact with each other (instead of having all boys in one side of the room and all girls in the other) - enjoy an interview activity - enjoy a very unusual bingo First I read the sentences one by one and they repeat. The Japanese teacher explains the words they donīt know. Students should build the last two group of questions ("Have you ever read ... ?" and "Have you ever seen ... ?") using their own vocabulary and imagination. Once they are ready, we move to the interview activity. They are supposed to ask 25 students (only one question to one student), which will (hopefully) make boys ask not only boys and girls not ony girls. Once a few students are done asking 25 students, they sit down and I ask how many "yes" answers they got to find out who is the "yes champion". Then I ask how many "no" answers they got, to find out who is the "no champion". After that, we play a different bingo. I choose names randomly from the list they have in the classroom. They circle the name of the student, if they have the name written on the squares on the right on their worksheet. The student who gets 3 studentsī names circled in the same group of questions get bingo. For example, three studentsī names circled in the group "Have you ever eaten... ?". This is for 3rd graders (Junior High School). If you have any comments, I would be happy to hear them!
