The second part is self- explanatory, but let me explain that part 1 is a contest. I gave the worksheet to my students before we read the chapter. When they are reading the student underlined the sentences they found. When we were finished reading each sentence, the student who said the number of the sentence correctly first, got some points. This kept them reading and focused on the words so they could answer more questions later. I wrote this for my own personal class to use after reading chapter 6 of The Lottery! Enjoy :)
