3rd (2nd part) and 4th lessons for 2009 - Pre-writing + writing + rewriting
(3 pages + key) Pre-writing activities: Students order the events of the story and compare their answers with their partnerīs before correction. In pairs, students discuss some topics (exercise 2)which are related to the themes they will have to write about and then they share their ideas with the whole class. Then itīs time to write. Students are given 4 topics and have to choose one (page 2) - creating a new ending to the story, describing their favourite character, interviewing one of the dolls..... Their work should be corrected by the teacher with a correction code so that they can correct their mistakes the next class - 4th lesson. Itīs also useful to write down the sentences with the most common mistakes among students to make a correction-code-worksheet (Iīve added it - 3rd page). After rewriting their texts, some students read them to the class. When the final version is ready, they can be fixed on the wall. You can make a writing contest of it.. Hope you like it. :)))
