Funny Running Dictations
Itīs a funny way of doing a dictation. In the worksheet there are two short descriptions about two famous that you can stick on the wall of the class or even on the corridor wall. In groups of 2-4 kids, they have to run to the paper, read the text, run back to the kid thatīs in charged of writing and say it to them, and so on until they are done with the whole text. They actually practise all the skills with this exercise.
Itīs motivating doing it as a competition, so they have to be quick, but they also have to be good at spelling, as it will be checked later. They also can guess the "hidden" famous. Itīs fun and they enjoy it a lot, altough it is a bit noisy!
Thereīs also a help with the punctuation. Enjoy it!
