This can be used as a verbal quiz in which word families (rhyming words) are used. Those rhyming words can be shown on flashcards and then the answers can be spelled and checked with the backside of the flashcards. This can be used with large groups of kids. I used it as a time-filler during a recitation contest while the judges were deliberating and then gave candy for correct answers.
