Passive report structures. these are some cards that discuss ideas from the past which you can connect with realities of the present. I ask my student to each pick a card, read it silently and then, using his or her own words to relate it to the class. It is an excellent activity for promoting fluency and using the passive reporting structures. The cards can also trigger discussion related to the topics and make the class very pleasant, but efficient at the same time
